When you first learn about the Law of Attraction it can sound irresponsible and unreasonable. "What?! If I'm just being happy and I'm not preparing myself or protecting myself from all of the bad things in the world how will I stay safe? How will I be a responsible person?" I've written articles about this. I've done workshops about this. But then I saw a movie that showed Law of Attraction in action better than I could ever explain. And it did it in only 1 minute and 48 seconds. I have found this clip so that I can share it with you today. About The Video This is a clip from the 1963 animated movie "The Sword In The Stone". In this clip young Arther has just met the magician Merlin. Merlin wants to take Arthur back to the castle so they head off into the woods. In the woods is a wolf who has been trying to eat Arthur for some time. Arthur is a sweet boy; allowing of good things and very Law-of-Attraction-y. He focuses on being helpful. He believes the best in people. He thinks Happy Thoughts. So watch as he goes about life, completely oblivious to the wolf. He never knows he is in danger. And in truth, he is not in danger, because he is aligned with well-being. That is Law of Attraction in action! With Law of Attraction the idea is not that you ignore bad things while secretly being afraid of them or being angry that they exist. The idea is not to force yourself to look at good things no matter what, grumble grumble. Law of Attraction says: get so good at being happy that you are happy, regardless of what other people or situations in the world are doing. And then you won't have to protect yourself from them, because they simply will not exist in your life. They may exist in the world. They may be in your neighbor's life or your family's life, but they will not be in yours. You'll be like Arthur, walking along, doing your thing, completely oblivious. Which, come to think about it, would make you look really irresponsible to the people who are pointing at and running from the wolf, getting sticks and guns and traps to kill the wolf, putting up fences and building buildings to protect themselves from the wolf, wouldn't it? Yes, it would. But if you keep practicing being happy you might find that you are completely oblivious to them, too. Now that's Law of Attraction in action! :) Comments are closed.
